Pestana Fisherman Village is a great hotel, located 15 minutes from the heart of Funcal. I'm so glad I came to stay here. Parking is right around the corner in an open lot. Claudia went above and beyond for me. I am very thankful for her guidance. The cleaning staff was on time to clean the room every single day. I am a fan of Pestana Fisherman Village.

Just the best fine, loved everything, Staff, rooms and breakfast no faults at all. we stayed for the start of the holiday and moved up north, missed this hotel so much we checked out up north just so we could go back for the end part of the holiday. thank you to all the staff. tina.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the The Pestana Fisherman Village Hotel. The staff were very attentive, particularly helpful was Sofie at reception who provided a warm welcome and plenty of suggestions that were useful for our stay in Madeira. The hotel is very centrally located in the village, which comes with some music playing in the street one evening that you should be aware of, but otherwise excellent for local bars and restaurants. Car driving in Madeira is a hairy experience but we found the nearby paid parking worked fine for us, albeit some of the locals were overly helpful when parking. The best of Madeira is a undoubtedly the Levada walks, which are utterly fabulous. The hotel was great, really enjoyable experience.

We just left the hotel 2 days ago, we stayed 7 nights and it was amazing !! I just love the style! ❤️The hotel is highly recommended! I just would like to mention only one thing which is might be useful for the future. As nowadays more and more people suffering with some allergies ( I have milk end egg allergy personally )or intolerances might be you should pay more attention for as like you mark food / drinks which ones are contains any allergens from the main 15 ish ?! And give a bit more alternatives like vegan butter or more vegan cakes , etc. Also when I asked one of the staff member about the ingredients one of the cake they weren’t able to give me proper answer. I think it is not big deal to “ train” them what is including what and it is would be very helpful ! 🤗 I am not disappointed about this at all I am clearly saying this because if you could do this little update the hotel would be like 5+ star for me !! 🤗 It was a pleasure to stay with you ! Thank you very much ! ❤️
